This week was the true launch of the travel season. It is the first of many exciting trips I have scheduled. Decided on an easy one to start. Amy and I headed to Utah to explore some areas I never reached after doing the prerequisite stops on everyone’s first few trips to Southern Utah. "Buckskin Gulch" (04/05/16)
Spring has sprung in Michigan and the travel season has begun. It was the easiest winter I have experienced to date as there were maybe 2 or 3 snow storms and days of 70 degrees intermingled between the freezing temperatures. "Zion Redux" (04/19/14)
Michigan has just suffered through the worst winter on record. Normally we get hit with a blast, it hangs around for a few days and then melts, but this time was different. The snow came in December and never left until March. We had permanent snow banks and the sidewalks were covered with a constant layer of ice. As I struggled through this Blizzard Affective Disorder I did appreciate one thing; I no longer have a desire to travel to the Arctic and walk on a glacier. Continue Reading

I created this Blog to document my own travels. My name is Darren and I own and operate a domestic adventure travel company.
